What is Electromagnetic radiation

Electromagnetic radiation in physics, electromagnetic radiation EM or EMR mention to the waves or their quanta, photons of the electromagnetic range, duplicate (radiating) through space, transfer electromagnetic radiant power. It includes radio waves, microwaves, infrared,clear light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays.Classically, electromagnetic radiation subsist of electromagnetic waves, which are harmonize vibration of electric and magnetic fields that multi-play at the speed of light, which, in a vacuum, is generally stand for. In homogeneous, iso-tropic media, the vibration of the two fields are horizontal to each other and horizontal to the direction of energy and wave breeding, compose a transverse wave. The wave front of electromagnet wave beam from a point source light bulb is a circle. The position of an electromagnetic wave within the electromagnetic rainbow can be defined by each of two its frequency of vibration or its wave length.

Definition of ‘Electromagnetic Waves

Electromagnetic waves are massed when an electric rays comes in touch with a magnetic rays. They are so popular as ‘electromagnetic’ waves. The electric rays and magnetic rays of an electromagnetic wave are horizontal to each other. They are also horizontal to the order of the EM wave.

EM waves travel with a constant velocity of 3 x 108 ms-1 in vacuum. They are turn aside neither by the electric rays, neither the magnetic rays. However, they are able of display conflict or emission. Electromagnetic wave can travel through everything air, a solid material or void.
